“I have always been called to the sea. From growing up on the rocky, cold shores of New Hampshire, spending over a decade on the Atlantic coast of Florida, and now living on the Bolivar Peninsula in Texas, my life and heart have always been where the salt meets the sand. I feel a strong duty to protect our waterways and wetlands for future generations to come.  On the peninsula, I get to live my personal dreams by serving in the United States Coast Guard and by teaching others about our wetlands, their importance, and what treasures they hold.”
